This unique hand crafted New Zealand Jade artwork was created by Nick Balme.  

This design is based on the Koauau, a traditional Maori wind instrument. The main feature is the seedpod and includes leaf designs in its fine detail.
It comes complete with a plaited wrist cord.

This piece is played by blowing across the open hole of the seedpod.
